MTV is a well know global brand that has evolved in recent years to align itself more with the content of its modern day shows. Within the Consumer Products team at Viacom International, I was responsible for focusing on 'MTV Classic', a tangent based upon the more iconic association of 'Music Television' and the visual idents of the 80's & 90's. The key strategy was to work with licensing partners using the classic logo to develop a wide range of consumer products.
• Managed the creative aspect of all product development for agent markets to include Australia, New Zealand, Benelux, Scandinavia, South Africa & Russia.
• Worked with the in-territory agents to develop full understanding of the international creative strategy and build ranges for key retailers.
• Brand guardian and quality control across both hardline and softlines, including fashion apparel & accessories, stationery and home.
• Drove innovation, worked on co-branding projects and creative output for the territory agencies.
