RMS is a steel fabrication specialist in the cable management industry based in Andover, Hampshire. Having worked with the company owners and Directors to redefine their sister company Armorduct, my contract was extended to lead a full brand refresh at RMS Ltd. During this time we have reshaped the overall business strategy, moving away from selling standard product ranges to offering the unique selling point of offering truly bespoke project solutions for large mechanical and electrical construction projects.
• Designed and developed more contemporary company branding to include new logos, straplines, colour palette, fonts and graphic assets.
• Managed the rollout of the new brand guidelines across all digital, print, signage and staff apparel.
• The continued development of brand and marketing strategies that set RMS apart from their competitors, especially when entering new and rapidly expanding markets such as Data Centre construction.
• Plan, source and develop both written, graphic and photographic content for new and revised corporate literature across multiple platforms.
• Define and rollout a brand marketing calendar of marketing initiatives month by month.
• During my time working with RMS, turnover has doubled from £5 million to £10 million annually.
• Complete redesign of the company website.
• Improved SEO, UX and conversion touch points.
• Managed the Google Adwords and Analytics accounts.
• Consistent supply of content to support the sales team, including technical specifications, presentations, catalogues and brochures.
• Design, develop and manage the RMS Showpad account - an intelligent content management solution that houses sales and marketing material.

• Oversee the creation of product videos including a 3D Virtual Reality data centre fly through experience with the team at Austella.
• Managed the RMS attendance at Data Centre World - Excel - London for 3 years concurrently.
• Defined, designed and developed the exhibition graphics, digital and printed materials.
• Exhibition table designed to show example product lines, powder coated to sit in line with the branding colour palette and lit with LEDs.
• RMS purchased a new building in 2018, I became the project lead on the new office design to create a modern industrial feel for the workplace.
• Opting for a muted colour palette mixed with metallics and textures of oak, walnut, copper and tan leather, I created a relaxed yet professional setting for the new office.
• Providing alternate wall colours in stark contrasts of white, light grey and dark grey, makes the space feel calm yet contemporary and an easy space to be in for the whole day.
• Working with the fabrication team, I designed the 2m oak desks which were assembled on site, not only adding a warmth to the space but giving each staff member an extended space to work on.
• Even the detail on the spot gradient for the glass manifestations was considered, I wanted to provide an element of privacy whilst keeping a sense of light and depth on the large window installations.
• The staff kitchen was a great room to develop as a proper breakout area. It also acts as a secondary meeting room with a large oak table and six bar height stools. I designed the interesting leg shape and they were fabricated by the onsite welders.
• Enhanced the original features of the building such as the exposed brick wall and the industrial style steel girders have been painted to match the chosen colour palette.
• The choice of the copper top work surfaces link with the copper lighting and provide a beautiful calm feeling to the breakout room. I considered all details down to the grey tiles, brushed steel sockets, plants and kitchenware to keep the office refurbishment on brief.
